openGHGRP is supported by faculty, researchers, and staff at the Center for Energy and Environmental Systems Analysis (CEESA), an organized research unit of the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.

The openGHGRP team is led by CEESA Principal Investigator Erin Tullos, Ph.D.

Team

Dr. Erin Tullos is a Professor of Practice in the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. With nearly 20 years of experience across industry, academia, and international policy, she specializes in methane detection, measurement, and mitigation in the oil and natural gas sector. Previously, she served as Senior Advisor to the United Nations Environment Programme's Oil and Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP 2.0) and held technical and leadership roles at ExxonMobil, Scientific Aviation, GTI Energy, ConocoPhillips, and Phillips 66. Her work focuses on advancing practical, data-driven solutions that reduce emissions and improve environmental performance.
